How can I receive push news messages?
When you first enter the app, on your mobile device or in the browser, a pop-up window will ask you whether you would like to allow push notifications. If you disabled push notifications the first time, you can still allow notifications from your device or browser settings.
Mobile app
- On iOS: Open Settings and go to Notifications to find a list of apps on your device. Click the event’s app to Allow notifications.
- On Android: Open Settings and go to Notifications to find a menu point called Recently sent. Click on See all to find a list of apps on your device. If you click on the Most recent dropdown menu, you can select the option All. By doing so, you will get to a list where you can find all of your apps where you can allow the event’s app to send you notifications.
Web App
- Chrome: Open Settings in the browser and go to Site Settings. Under Permissions, you can find Notifications where you can allow notifications for the web app.
Where can I find the notification centre?
You can find the notification centre in the top-right corner, at the left of your profile. There are two icons: a message and a bell icon.
Below the message icon, you find all the chat notifications and an overview of your conversations. They can come from your private messages or from group chats you participated in, such as topical, session or exhibitor booth chats.
Below the bell icon, you find your notifications concerning connection requests, appointments and news.
On the mobile app, there is no message icon. Instead, you can find all your conversations under My conversations in your profile.
