# Release notes Q4 2026

## This article contains the release notes for the releases of the Floq.live web app, mobile app and Floq Studio done in Q4 2026.

### 19 October 2026

### Features & Improvements

#### Analytics

- App and event analytics now default to the last 30 days on a first visit instead of today, and the rarely useful "Yesterday" option has been removed. A period you pick yourself is still remembered.
- On the Attendees tab of event analytics, the CME export button now sits below the header, with a clearer description of what the export contains: everyone who watched live or on-demand sessions and their minutes watched per session.

#### Other

- When the AI add-on is enabled in the studio, a "Help me write" button in the news message editor lets organisers describe what the message is about, pick a tone of voice and generate a draft, which lands in the text field ready for editing. It is available for both event and society news.
- The app strings and content can now be translated to Italian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. These languages can be selected in the mobile app too.
- On the web app, attendees now can remove someone from their contacts, block or unblock them, and report them from the menu on a user profile. Messages from other participants in group chats can be reported by hovering over them, social wall posts by clicking the options menu in the top right corner. Reports can include an optional reason and trigger a notification to the organisers, when their email address is filled in on the tab Advanced in the society settings.

### Bug Fixes

- Changing the room type to None through the batch edit toolbar saves the change and shows a confirmation, rather than leaving the toolbar loading indefinitely.

### Features & Improvements

#### Pages

- Daily schedule pages now have two additional options: 
    - Besider filtering on tags, you can now also filter on a room in the studio. In the programme page in the app, only sessions happening in that room are shown.
    - Below Enable filter options for attendees, you can now not only choose tag types, but also place types. Attendees can then filter the programme page by location. Selecting several rooms shows sessions in any of them, and room filters combine with the existing tag filters.

- A recycle bin for the Pages has been added, so that deleted pages can easily be found and restored from there. The bin is reachable from the bottom of the Pages table and lets organisers restore one or several pages at once, just like the data types recycle bin.

#### Mobile app notifications

- ![](https://knowledge.conferencecompass.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-09-2026-09-07-28-9182-AM.png?width=250&height=151&name=image-png-Oct-09-2026-09-07-28-9182-AM.png)A new "Notify users about new app versions" option in the app settings (Advanced tab) lets organisers prompt attendees to update. When enabled, attendees opening the app see a message after opening the app whenever a newer version is available in the App Store or Google Play. They can choose to update right away, or only later, which will not show the message again until the next version is released.
- Attendees registering for a session that overlaps with one they are already registered for see a scheduling conflict warning and can choose to register anyway or cancel. Sessions that start exactly when another ends are not treated as a conflict.
- When scheduling an appointment in the mobile app while the device timezone differs from the event timezone, a message explains which timezone the appointment is being set in and what the time is in the other timezone, helping travelling attendees avoid mix-ups.

#### Other improvements

- The advanced setting for invite emails is now labelled "Send email when adding backstage access invite", reflecting that it applies to all backstage access and not only virtual rooms.
- PDFs uploaded through the dashboard can be deleted directly from the programme item in Studio, without the organiser needing dashboard access.
- The list of registered users for sessions with registration loads much faster in Studio.

### Bug Fixes

- The partial imports toggle stays available in channel settings after it has been switched off, so it can be turned back on without re-adding the channel.

### Features & Improvements

#### AI suite

The attendee features of the AI suite now have been released. Features included are the following:

- **Chat assistant**: Can be added as a widget on the home screen. Attendees can then ask it any question related to the programme, persons, topics, event information, etc.

- **Session recommendations:** This can also be added as a widget on the home screen. It looks similar to the happening now pages, a few sessions are shown and clicking the widget opens the full list. Note that you need favourites saved in order to get recommendations.
- **Attendee recommendations:** These can optionally be enabled on the settings of the attendee list. When enabled, a horizontal row with recommended attendees are shown above the regular attendee list

- **Notes enricher:** Whenever the AI suite on, attendees will automatically get the option to enrich their notes when creating a note. This will turn keywords in nice, readable sentences

#### Session types

- The virtual room toggle and dropdown on programme items are replaced by a single *Session type* dropdown with icons and descriptions, which determines the available backstage roles and how the dashboards look.

#### Captions

- A dedicated captions screen can be opened from a copyable link in the session settings of virtual rooms, showing live captions in a chosen language so they can be displayed to the audience in the room.

- The event analytics now show the caption analytics. The event engagement dashboard has a caption minutes card showing total minutes viewed, unique viewers, a daily graph and the top five programme items, with a link to the full list. Caption minutes appear as a column in the programme item and attendee lists, and in the event engagement, programme item and attendee exports, including a breakdown by caption language.

#### Integrations

- In the data tables, items can be sorted and filtered by import status, making it easy to find manually created, sheet-imported or channel-imported items and see which were edited.
- Items added through a channel and later updated with Excel show the correct notice that they were imported from a channel and have locked, edited properties.

#### Other improvements

- A new *My contacts* page can be linked from menus, navigation pages, home page buttons, tiles and internal links.
- Side and top menu items and chat group names can now be translated, so they display in each attendee's selected language.
- Navigation buttons and the sponsor banner support taller image dimensions; the banner adapts its height to the uploaded image, so both previous and new sizes display without stretching.
- Push notification previews keep the spacing between paragraphs of multi-paragraph news messages.
- In the exhibitor dashboard, the *Save* button is renamed *Save draft* to make clear that changes are not yet submitted for approval.
- The HTML editor offers headings 1 to 4 only, as smaller heading styles were not supported in the mobile app.

### Bug Fixes

- Choosing Save in the unsaved-changes prompt when leaving a page in the Studio now keeps all edits, across info, navigation, list, schedule, floorplan, search and networking pages.
- Sessions appear on the correct date in the web app's event overview, regardless of time zone.
- App builds complete as expected when the app name contains a leading or trailing space.
- Sponsor banner views on the home screen are counted under Sponsor banners (previously News feed banners) in the event analytics rather than as carousel views.
